Broncos Panthers Betting Tips – Panthers In Tough Versus Manning, Broncos Sunday
The Carolina Panthers enjoyed just their second sports betting win of the season last weekend when they knocked off the Washington Redskins on the road. Winning consecutive games for the first time this season won’t be nearly as easy for the Panthers when they host Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Manning and the Broncos have won three-straight and four of their last five to climb to the top of the AFC West, and have won each of their last three by at least six points.

NFL Betting Line: Denver Broncos – 4
Carolina hasn’t beaten a team with a winning record yet this season, and they don’t match up well against Manning and the Broncos. Denver can move the ball both through the air and on the ground, and its defense is built to produce pressure on opposing quarterbacks, something Cam Newton has struggled with in his second season.
NFL Betting Preview: Denver Broncos
Manning has thrown at least three touchdown passes in five-straight games, and seems to be making progress with his receivers with every passing week. The Broncos have scored at least 31 points in three-straight wins, and if Manning can get to that mark again this week the defense should be able to do enough to help secure the victory. Denver’s defense ranks in the top-12 against both the run and pass, and is built to bring pressure with edge rushers like Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil. The Panthers have hit the 30-point mark only once so far this season, and that was in week two against the New Orleans Saints.
NFL Betting Preview: Carolina Panthers
The inability to put up the type of inflated offensive stats that helped him win Rookie of the Year honors a year ago has kept Newton and the Panthers offense from taking off this season. Newton has yet to reach the 2,000-yard mark, and his six passing touchdowns are actually fewer than his eight interceptions. Newton did throw for 201 yards and a touchdown without turning the ball over last week against the Redskins, so that is at least something to build off of. Part of the problem has been a rushing that has failed to crack the top-10 after being so good a year ago, and that has forced Carolina in to more of the long-yardage situations in which Newton has struggled.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
Despite a strong performance last online betting week, the Panthers still have a lot of work to do and simply aren’t ready for a team that is firing on all cylinders the way the Broncos have been the past couple of weeks. Manning is playing like a man possessed and still feels he has a lot to prove, and unfortunately for Newton and Carolina they are next on his schedule. Denver has already looked incredible in winning four of five, and it’s scary to think this team is still progressing from week to week.
