Browns Ravens Betting – Ravens Look To Get Back On Track Versus Browns
The city of Cleveland can’t seem to stay on the right track as far as sports are concerned. Despite their baseball, basketball, and football teams showing promise over the past couple of years, all three appear to be either static or on the downfall. The Cavaliers lost their franchise player in Lebron James this summer, the Indians have already been eliminated from the American League playoff race, and barring a miracle it appears as though the Browns will be joining them at the latest Cleveland team not to make the postseason. The Browns travel to Baltimore this week, and it’s no surprise that the spread for this game has reached double digits. The Ravens have looked dominant at times throughout the first two weeks, and according to the team if they had a couple of calls go the other way week two they would be 2-0 at this point.

Why To Bet On The Browns?
It’s hard to find a reason to bet on the Browns, especially given that the team can’t seem to cover in games they are in position to win, as was the case week one when they led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers heading in to the fourth quarter but still managed to blow the game. Cleveland quarterback Jake Delhomme cannot seem to avoid the timely mistakes, and there is not enough talent around him to make up for it, which is why the Browns are double-digit underdogs this weekend. The huge point spread is as close to a reason to take Cleveland as any, but after the Ravens felt they were screwed by the referees week two, this is a mad team that will be aiming to make a statement week three.
Why To Bet On The Ravens?
Penalties cost the Ravens big time week two, causing linebacker Ray Lewis to explode in front of the media after the game. Baltimore understands that snapping after the game is not enough, so expect for them to bring the heat early and often week three. The Ravens will be smelling blood in the water with the dysfunctional Browns in town, and after a close divisional loss, it is highly unlikely that Baltimore will not reverse that outcome week three. Quarterback Joe Flacco will feel like he has all day against the Cleveland pass rush, while on defense, the Ravens will have the luxury of being a lot more aggressive getting after Delhomme and company.
How The Game Will Play Out
The Ravens are upset, and head coach Jon Harbaugh will be looking to unleash that frustration this weekend with the Browns in town. Delhomme is becoming known as a quarterback that can get the job done early on, but will struggle when the football betting pressure is on him, and Baltimore can be expected to match up their cornerbacks one on one on the outside and let their linebackers free to attack him.
