Cowboys Ravens Betting Tips – Cowboys Searching For Consistency As They Head To Baltimore
Turnovers and inconsistencies on both sides of the ball have once again made things more difficult than they should be for the Dallas Cowboys this season. Traveling to face a talented Baltimore Ravens’ team this weekend won’t make it any easier on them. The Cowboys split their first four games to head in to their bye week at 2-2, and will now enter a grueling part of their schedule with four of the next five on the road including the Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and Philadelphia Eagles. Winning this first sports betting contest would take a lot of pressure off the Cowboys going forward, but that is much easier said than done for a team that is eager to put an awful five-turnover performance against the Chicago Bears behind them.

NFL Betting Line: Baltimore Ravens – 3.5
The Ravens meanwhile have won four of their past five games and now play the two teams from the Lone Star state before heading in to their own bye week. Baltimore’s offense has progressed to the point where it is now considered the strength of the team ahead of its defense, making them a legitimate contender in the AFC this season.
NFL Betting Preview: Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo threw five interceptions the last time he was on an NFL field, something that could be hard to forget if he struggles against the Ravens early on. The Cowboys have the tools on offense to run the ball with DeMarco Murray and then attack over the top with the passing game, but the play calling has once again been suspect and the offense has turned the ball over far too often. One bright spot early on has been the play of the defense, which has held its own despite tough breaks in field position due to turnovers. The Dallas defense ranks first in the NFL against the pass and 15th against the run, and it will be interesting to see how it attacks the Ravens’ offense.
NFL Betting Preview: Baltimore Ravens
The makeup of the Cowboys’ defense could lead to more touches for Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice, who has been excellent out of the backfield both running the ball up the middle and catching balls in the flat. Baltimore’s offense has taken a major step forward this year with Rice and quarterback Joe Flacco leading the way, and it certainly helps that he has a ton of options in the passing game. The Ravens’ defense isn’t as dominant as it once was but still does a great job up front. Sticking to assignments will be the key for that group this week, as they try and force Romo in to making mistakes.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The Ravens have been excellent at home the past two online sportsbook seasons, and appear to have all of the momentum heading in to this game. Dallas is coming off a brutal loss that led in to its bye week, and while they did have an extra week to prepare for this game, that won’t mean much if Romo cannot protect the football. Look for Baltimore to attack the Cowboys’ defense with a steady dose of Rice, opening things up to go over the top in the second half.
