How To Bet On Raiders Dolphins – Raiders And Dolphins Must Play With Urgency

Why Oakland Will Win
Many an online casino does good business based on the hopefulness of bettors and the speculative quality of various casino games. The NFL can feel like a casino game at times, and there's a lot of speculation surrounding the Oakland Raiders in these first weeks of the 2012 season.
The Raiders can be seen in many different ways. They are a franchise in transition, which can be seen in many ways as a point of weakness or instability, but many football people think that the Raiders' changes are for the better in the long run. New head coach Dennis Allen and new general manager Reggie McKenzie are viewed as bright leaders who can give the Raiders a fresh start after the death of the organization's icon, Al Davis. The Raiders have young talent at wide receiver and linebacker, and they have a bruising between-the-tackles runner in the person of Michael Bush. The potential is there for this team to do well in a crowded and balanced but not overwhelming AFC West. Oakland could win nine games this season and sneak into the playoffs. This could be a good team this year, not just next year (when more substantial progress is expected).
In terms of this game, the Raiders have a great shot because Miami is a mess. The Dolphins scored 10 points in their season opener at Houston, but only three points came from the offense because seven points were scored on special teams. The Raiders don't have to play an A-plus game or even a B-plus game on offense. If they play a B-minus game free of significant turnovers, they should be fine.
Why Miami Will Win
When athletes and the teams containing them show a poker face, they're trying to hide behind difficult truths on many occasions. Yet, for all the difficult truths the Miami Dolphins do in fact face, they definitely have a shot at this game against Oakland. The foremost reason can be found in one person.
Oakland's roster moves and personnel changes last season included the acquisition of Carson Palmer as the team's quarterback. Palmer's best days as an NFL signal caller are clearly behind him. He enjoyed a few very productive years with the Cincinnati Bengals, but he lost confidence at some point and has not been able to get better with age the way the elites of the sport (Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Kurt Warner, to name a few) have managed to do. Palmer is slow. If Miami can rush him, he's either going to get sacked or make a panicky throw that could be intercepted. Miami can compensate for its offense by harassing Palmer and creating turnovers. That’s a clear path to victory for the Dolphins.
Who Will Win
It’s possible that Miami's defense will win this game for the home team in South Florida, but it's far more likely that the Dolphins' offense, which is rock-bottom woeful, will lose it. Go with Oakland… not because the Raiders are special, but because the Dolphins are in bad shape at the moment.NFL Football Betting Pick: Oakland
