Jaguars Chiefs Betting – Chiefs Look To Get Back To Winning Ways At Arrowhead Sunday
After three straight wins to open the season, Kansas City Chiefs’ head coach Todd Haley probably wishes that his bye never came, as consecutive losses following the off week have his team barely treading above .500. While road losses against AFC contenders in the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans are little to shudder about, Kansas City will have major problems if they are unable to right the ship against the Buffalo Bills two weeks from now, and this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Online Sports Betting: Chiefs – 4.5
The Jaguars took a step back in the AFC South football betting race as the only team from the division to lose in week seven. After consecutive wins over the Colts and Bills, the Jaguars looked like a shadow of the team that looked like they could contend in the division in a 30-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. With two road games to go before the bye week, Jacksonville will need this one against the Chiefs before taking on the Dallas Cowboys on the road week eight.
Why To Bet On The Jaguars?
The sixth-ranked rushing attack in the league just couldn’t get going in a blowout bettingloss to the Titans in prime time week six, and after playing the Monday night game the Jaguars will now have to travel in consecutive weeks on short rest. Jacksonville has won games by taking advantage of opportunities, but have excelled in no one area this year on either side of the ball except in rushing. That will catch up to them over the next couple of weeks, as they play the Chiefs and Cowboys on the road, two games they will be favored to lose.
Why To Bet On The Chiefs?
The Chiefs return home looking to regain some traction in the AFC West. Luckily for Haley and his team, nobody else in the division seems to want to win a game. Kansas City has the best running game in the league entering week seven, and that shouldn’t change after taking on the Jaguars and their 20th-ranked run defense. The Chiefs have one of the best rushing tandems in the league in Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones, and both backs should get their share of carries in this one. Despite struggling against the pass, Kansas City has been solid against the run and are ranked fifth in the league, which should translate well against the Jacksonville offense.
How The Game Will Play Out
The Jaguars may get some early points but it is only a matter of time before the Chiefs break away in this one. Kansas City is too talented in the running game for a Jaguars’ defense that can’t seem to stop anyone, and it will only be a matter of time before the boys in red start to pull away.
