Packers Look To Spoil The Party Week Three At Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Bengals bounced back from a disappointing season opener to knock off the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers at home in week two. The Bengals gave their online sports betting fans a reason to cheer with the victory, but earning a second-consecutive home win will be a much tougher task. That’s because the Green Bay Packers are the next team to visit Cincinnati – fresh of a 38-20 blowout win over the Washington Redskins. Both teams are 1-1 heading in to week three, but only one will be able to take another step towards locking up a playoff spot this Sunday.

NFL Sports Betting Line: Green Bay – 2
The Packers’ offense put up 580 total yards against Washington, with Aaron Rodgers throwing for a franchise record-tying 480 yards and four touchdowns. Rodgers has thrown for 813 yards and seven touchdowns through his first two games, and will provide the Bengals with a tougher test than they faced from the Steelers’ offense a week ago.
NFL Betting Preview: Green Bay Packers
Rodgers’ sensational play has become somewhat of an expectation in Green Bay, but last week’s win marked the first time in NFL history that a team had a 450-yard passer and a 100-yard rusher in the same game. Rookie running back Eddie Lacy was lost to a concussion but James Starks stepped up in a major way, rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown, averaging 6.6 yards per carry. Starks will have a tougher time finding holes against the Cincinnati front-seven, but the Packers will probably stick to the ground game to help keep some of the pressure off of Rodgers in the pocket. The Green Bay defense has allowed the third-most passing yards in the NFL through two games, so it is clearly vulnerable if the Bengals can get their passing game going.
NFL Betting Preview: Cincinnati Bengals
Andy Dalton threw for 280 yards and a touchdown last week, but the team would still like to see more consistency out of him in year three. Rookie running back Giovani Bernard stole the show with 65 total yards and a pair of touchdowns that were the difference in the win over the Steelers. Fellow running back BenJarvus stepped up with 75 rushing yards after running for just 25 in a season-opening loss to Chicago, and the ground game remains key to keeping the pressure off of Dalton and a passing game that features AJ Green and a pair of quality tight ends in Jermaine Gresham and rookie Tyler Eifert. That tandem combined for nine catches and 132 yards in week two, and will be key again in week three as the Packers have struggled to defend the tight end position dating back to last year. Cincinnati’s defense forced a pair of turnovers in last week’s win, and will need to step up again to slow down Rodgers’ and the Green Bay offense.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The Packers have plenty of weapons and are very capable of spreading the ball around with Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, and Jermichael Finley each catching touchdowns a week ago while James Jones went off with 11 catches for 178 yards. Cincinnati could have a tough time slowing them down, and that will mean relying on Dalton to try and keep them in this online betting contest.
