Panthers Bears Betting Tips – Panthers Try To Find A Spark Against The Bears
The Carolina Panthers figured to have a very promising 2012 season in store for them. Yet, this campaign has brought them nothing but misery. Can coach Ron Rivera's team get off the canvas?

Why Carolina Will Win
The NFL betting calculus in this contest could easily be upended by the Panthers. This is a team that simply has too much talent to finish with a 2-14 or 3-13 record. Though 1-5 at the moment, Carolina figures to wake up at some point. Quarterback Cameron Newton is too gifted to continue to struggle the way he has in 2012. It's true that in a sophomore season, opposing defenses make adjustments in comparison to a player's rookie season. Having gained the opportunity to study film throughout a full offseason, defensive coordinators throughout the league have been able to game plan to stop Newton and counter each and every one of his strengths.
Yet, with that having been said, it must be acknowledged that Newton's talent is so considerable that he should be able to outperform a defense on at least a few occasions. This snapshot of Newton's capabilities was in evidence earlier this season when Carolina outplayed the still-unbeaten Atlanta Falcons on the road in Georgia. The Panthers had the Falcons on the ropes and needed just one yard to salt away a victory. Carolina coach Ron Rivera ordered a punt, and Atlanta took the ensuing possession the other way for a game-winning score. The Panthers have not recovered from that moment, but the illustrative point to make is that this game against Chicago – one of the better and more high-profile teams in the league – will make Carolina regroup on a mental level. The Panthers will gather their psychological resources and challenge Chicago because of a sense of renewal, a sense that this is a big opportunity for them to remake their season and the way in which they're perceived throughout the NFL.
Why Chicago Will Win
When football betting pundits decide to weigh in on this game, they're not going to feel the need to make overly precise or finely-calibrated statements, because they're going to realize that the simplest kind of analysis is the best kind of analysis. Chicago is simply a much better team than Carolina. The Panthers have shown an occasional glimpse of quality, but they've been worse than merely mediocre in 2012. They've been legitimately bad. Carolina has failed to score more than 14 points in four of its six games this season. The outlook for the Panthers has been so gloomy that despite the tens of millions of dollars they've invested in multiple running backs, they've produced so few points on offense. All these events have led to the firing of team general manager Marty Hurney, a source of distraction that cannot help the Panthers to become more focused on the field.
Who Will Win
It’s a mismatch. Chicago is a solid, well-rounded team, while Carolina is a total mess at the moment. The Bears are playing at home and have no business losing this game.
