Seahawks Cardinals Betting – Seahawks, Cardinals Look To Finish Season On High Note
A year ago at this time, the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals would have been fighting for a division title heading in to their regular season finales at 7-8. But times have changed in the NFC West, and the San Francisco 49ers have served notice that it will take more than mediocrity if either one of those teams is going to represent the division for the playoffs in the future. Both Seattle and Arizona have put together at least three straight wins over the past few weeks to climb back towards the .500 mark, and while the postseason isn’t in the cards for either one this season, another win will be a positive step in the right direction looking forward to next year.

NFL Betting Lines: Arizona Cardinals – 2.5
Despite being a game below .500 heading in to this contest, the Cardinals have actually won five of their seven home games, which makes them an easy pick to be the sports betting favorites for this game. The Seahawks have struggled on the road in the past, but did lay a beating on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field just two weeks ago.
Seahawks Cardinals Betting Preview: Seattle Seahawks
The presence of a franchise running back in Marshawn Lynch, and some solid playmakers in Doug Baldwin and Sidney Rice give this offense some flare going forward, but they will need to do better at quarterback if they are going to have playoff aspirations. Tarvaris Jackson has thrown for just 2,869 yards and 13 touchdowns compared to 12 interceptions, and when you factor in his three fumbles, it provides a better picture of the risk that comes with making him the starter. The Seahawks’ defense ranks in the top-half of the league against both the run and the pass, and have not allowed more than 19 points in more than a month.

With key offseason acquisition Kevin Kolb trying to stay out of the medical room and on the field, the Cardinals have relied on John Skelton to guide the offense, and haven’t gotten too bad of a performance. While Skelton still makes too many mistakes on the field, there are times when he is able to make big plays, and he should get a second look from the coaches. Arizona doesn’t stand out in nearly any area on either side of the ball statistically, but they have found ways to get the job done due to great coaching, which has been a big part of them winning four of their last five.
Seahawks Cardinals Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The sportsbook spread is based on the Cardinals’ home success, and while that success could very well continue, it is hard to imagine such an average team running away with a division game. Seattle has looked strong down the stretch this year, and should be able to at the least keep it close.Seahawks Cardinals Betting Pick: Seattle Seahawks
