Tips For Betting On Colts Titans – Titans Look To Climb Back To .500 With Win Over Luck, Colts
The Tennessee Titans are one game below .500 after winning consecutive games for the first time this season. A third-straight win will push them past one of their division rivals and in to second place in the AFC South. That is what will be on the line when the Titans host the Indianapolis Colts at LP Field this Sunday. Tennessee has climbed out of a 1-4 start to reach 3-4 under Matt Hasselbeck, who has started the last three games in place of the injured Jake Locker. While Locker continues to practice, it seems as though head coach Mike Munchak is comfortable giving his veteran backup the chance to get the Titans back to .500 on the sports betting season.

NFL Betting Line: Tennessee Titans – 3.5
There is no doubt about who will be under center for the Colts, who climbed back to .500 themselves with a 17-13 win over the Cleveland Browns last week. Rookie first-overall pick Andrew Luck has shown progress in each of his first six NFL starts, and now gets another chance to earn his first road win.
NFL Betting Preview: Indianapolis Colts
Luck is 326 yards away from reaching 2,000 yards passing on the season, and continued to show progress in last week’s win over the Browns despite failing to throw a touchdown. The 23-year old threw for 186, and also rushed for 12 yards and two touchdowns on three carries, taking what the Cleveland defense gave him rather than forcing the issue through the air. The Titans’ defense ranks in the bottom-half of the league against both the run and pass, and that should afford the Colts to pick their poison. Defensively, Indianapolis is ranked seventh against the pass, but needs to be better against the run, where it is ranked 26th.
NFL Betting Preview: Tennessee Titans
The Titans have liked what they have seen from Hasselbeck so far, including another 205 yards and a touchdown in the win over Buffalo, but it isn’t as though he hasn’t gotten some help. Running back Chris Johnson, who was held to a career-low 3.3 yards per carry in Tennessee’s first six games, exploded for 195 yards and two scores against the Bills, including an 83-yard touchdown in the first quarter. A pair of forced turnovers also helped the Titans battle back to pull out the win in the final minutes, and they will need to be aggressive up front once again this week.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
For as good as the Titans have looked the past couple of weeks, they have clinched their three wins this season by an average of just 2.5 points. Indianapolis didn’t look good in a pair of road losses at Chicago and New York, but this is a young team that has showed improvement with each passing week, and should be able to move the ball enough to keep this online sportsbook contest close.
