Tips For Betting On Rams Bills – Rams Can Get Back To .500 With Win At Buffalo This Sunday
The St. Louis Rams have battled their way through a tough initial season under new head
coach Jeff Fisher. After registering consecutive wins over division rivals including a 16-13 overtime win over the NFC West-leading San Francisco 49ers last week, the Rams find themselves within reach of a .500 record as they travel to face the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. With three of their final four sports betting games on the road it won’t be easy on St. Louis, especially with the Bills also playing some of their best football recently.

NFL Betting Line: Buffalo Bills -3
Buffalo has followed up a three-game losing streak with wins in two of its last three, including back-to-back home wins. While neither the Miami Dolphins nor the Jacksonville Jaguars made it too hard on them, the Bills have taken steps in the right direction and enter the second of three-straight home games.
NFL Betting Preview: St. Louis Rams
Regardless of where they finish this season, the Rams have at least proved in their first year under Fisher that they can compete with the class of the NFC West, going 0-1-1 in a pair of contests with the 49ers. In fact, St. Louis is now 4-0-1 in games against their division rivals compared to a 1-6 record outside of the NFC West, with one of the biggest difference being their commitment to protecting the football. The Rams are plus-five in turnover differential versus NFC West opponents compared to minus-seven outside of the division, including a two-yard fumble return touchdown by Janoris Jenkins in last week’s win.
NFL Betting Preview: Buffalo Bills
The Bills’ offense overcame two turnovers last week thanks in part to the two that the defense forced against the Jaguars, and another strong effort from the league’s fourth-ranked rushing attack. Running backs Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller combined for 186 rushing yards on a combined five yards per carry, with Ryan Fitzpatrick completing just nine passes for 112 yards and two scores with a pick. Defensive end Mario Williams had another strong performance including a forced fumble, while safety Jairus Byrd made the game-clinching interception late in the fourth quarter.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The Bills play their best football when they run it hard and don’t force the issue through the air, and after consecutive home wins will continue to look to punch the rock inside. Despite their strong play of late, the Rams are heading on the road to a cold environment after a pair of emotional online sportsbook wins, and they could be vulnerable so long as Buffalo avoids the turnovers that have cost them at times this season. This game will be close, but the Bills should be able to cover the field goal at home, mathematically keeping their playoff hopes alive.
