Horse Race Betting - Delinquents

There are horses that run into trouble every single day across the country but online sportsbook players have to be careful when evaluating just how much trouble really costs the runners a victory.

Sometimes trouble can be subtle. Take for instance the first timer at Gulfstream last week Cloudwatcher.
The sophomore filly had trained steadily for the debut for 23% trainer Garry Simms and was caught three wide every step of the way at Gulfstream when hooking the speedy Todd Pletcher student The Last Meow, who is the first to run an unraced dam that won a Grade 3 and banked nearly $170,000.

Cloudwatcher is also out of an unraced dam and is the first to run from the dam but there is power on the bottom side. The dam Silk Queen banked over $100,000 but more importantly is kin to 11-race winner and over $300,000 earner Madam Inspector.

Look for the sport betting skies to burst open the next time Cloudwatcher shows in the entries.
Dixie Slam was protected last week in a starter allowance but he closed out 2011 with two solid efforts. In his first start of the year he walked out of the game but came home like gangbusters passing all but two and missing the exacta by only a neck.

Players should look for him in a $16,000 claimer going at least 6 and a half furlongs but preferably 7 furlongs.
Like the legendary fighter he was named for Liston packs a closing punch but he was fully extended in his 2011 finale and came up just over a length short to kick off the year.

The runner exited a live race in his prior engagement, has won at Gulfstream and has the pedigree to still become a very useful charge as kin to double Grade 1 winner and near $700,000 earner Country Star.
Two more to go now and let’s go coast to coast.

Tropiluk won’t be a maiden for long. The gelding was green in the debut, was hooked wide in his Santa Anita debut, improved in leaps and bounds in his third start and lost all chance in his 2012 opener.

The runner was bet like a good thing but was finished before they started because he broke through the gate. His rider Joel Rosario had not other choice then to try to gun and clear but after breaking sharply, the runner just was zapped.
If he comes back in another $40,000 maiden claimers, he will be the play.

Now to New York and what may be a very tasty play in the future named Sweet Kakes. The filly had trained forwardly for the debut but was a bit intimidated to kick off the career. Factor in the fact that trainer Bruce Levine is a very patient conditioner, this filly’s impressive third is worthwhile.

Person of Interest will be just that in his next betting websites start. The veteran needed his 2011 opener badly and then caught the slop to boot.

The runner stepped up a notch and made a super middle move to get within a length and a half of the lead before reality set in. He was nearly 8 lengths clear of the 4th finisher and that middle move may have not been detected by all.
Just believe in this Person.
