Everything has sports betting limits. A glass can only hold so much water, a person can only handle so much pressure and a racehorse can only handle a certain amount of exertion and stress so when horses that come back and race after running in the Breeders’ Cup online players have to tread lightly.
Let’s see how the 2010 BC winners have fared since last year.

The Marathon winner of 2010 had a disappointing season this year. He lost his first 2 races after the Cup, won two minor events, and was beaten over 17 lengths in this year’s Marathon.

More Than Real paid over $13 in last year’s Juvenile Turf, but blanked in 4 starts this year.
Awesome Feather remained unbeaten when winning the Juvenile Fillies last year but had to take nearly 11 months off. She won her only 2011 start, but could not muster the energy to race in this year’s Cup.

Shared Account was a fluke when winning the F and M Turf in 2010 and that fact was validated by her 0 for 3 record this year including a seventh when trying to defend her title.

The 2010 Ladies Classic winner Unrivaled Belle has also failed this year, losing both of her sportsbooks starts and able to race just twice.
After winning the Juvenile Turf, Pluck had to take 4 months off but ran out of the money in both of her starts this year.

Last year’s Sprint winner Big Drama is an exception as he took time off after his big victory, won his first two starts of 2011 but was only a brief factor when trying to defend his Sprint title running seventh.

Chamberlain Bridge took the Turf Sprint in 2010 going away and he did win his first start of 2011. The bad news is he lost his next 5 outs and was crushed when trying to defend his title.

The brilliant Uncle Mo was a shooting star taking last year’s Juvenile and considering what ailed him, he had a good 2011 winning his first start of the year but stopping on a dime in this year’s Classic.

Superstar Goldikova was sensational winning the Mile last year but lost a step this year and was just not the same horse. She failed to win her 4th consecutive Mile and was retired.

Dakota Phone came from dead last to shock in the Dirt Mile in 2010 but was out of the money in his final start of last year and blanked this season.

Dangerous Midge posted a 104 Beyer winning the Turf over a year ago but only beat one to the wire in his 4 starts this year in a total collapse.
This is the story of what happened to the online wagering runners that were not retired after last year’s Cup and it is more than evident that players have to be very careful about gauging class of this year’s Cup winners when they return.

Value can be had if horseracing enthusiasts dig deep and try to beat this year’s BC heroes.
