Even before the main sports betting card for UFC 126: Silva vs Belfort gets underway, there will be plenty of reasons for the fans at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas to be excited about with a stacked under card including the debut of the Bantamweight class in the UFC.

(13-3-0) Donald Cerrone vs. Paul Kelly (11-3-0)

Kickboxing specialist Donald Cerrone will look to extend his MMA win streak to three straight fights as he helps lead the WEC’s transition over to the UFC against Paul Kelly. The 27-year old Cerrone is a specialist in both Muay Thai and Submission Grappling, and will now get the chance to prove that he can compete with those in the biggest MMA promotion in the world when he opens against an opponent that has won five of his eight fights in the UFC.

Pick: Cerrone

(9-0-0) Chad Mendes vs Michihiro Omigawa (12-8-1)

The undefeated Mendes will look to prove his merit against another fighter that will be making his UFC debut in Omigawa. A black belt in Judo, Omigawa had won consecutive fights in the DREAM promotion before making the move to sign with the UFC, but will have a tough time keeping his win streak alive. The 25-year old Mendes has clinched two of his nine wins via knockout, and two more via submission, but may be forced to be more aggressive to clinch his first MMA betting victory in the UFC.

Pick: Mendes

(10-6-1) Paul Taylor vs Gabe Ruediger (17-6-0)

A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and orange belt in Judo, Ruediger has used his excellent submission skills to gain a reputation in MMA, but will still need to prove his self in the UFC. The California-native won six straight fights in a variety of promotions before falling to Joe Lauzon via submission in his UFC debut. Ruediger will need a better result in his second UFC fight, and should get it against Taylor, who has lost five of his last seven fights.

Pick: Ruediger

(18-3-1) Norifumi Yamamoto vs Demetrious Johnson (8-1-0)

Johnson has rebounded from his first career loss with a pair of wins over Nick Pace and Damacio Page, and has done so in the same fashion that UFC President Dana White loves. An aggressive fighter that has clinched five of his eight wins via submission, and another two by knockout. Johnson will look to continue his run against Yamamoto, who has lost two of the last three.

Pick: Johnson

(9-2-0) Kyle Kingsbury vs Ricardo Romero (11-1-0)

The 28-year old has Kingsbury has debuted with consecutive sports betting bonus wins at Pay Per View events following a loss in the Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale. The Muay Thai specialist will have a tough time extending his run against Romero, who has won six straight including his debut over Seth Petruzelli via armbar submission in his UFC debut at UFC 116.

Pick: Romero
